Our paracord is US Military specified MIL-C-5040H Type III 550 commercial grade paracord made in the USA by certified US Government Contractors. The parachute cord is 100% nylon and has a braided outer shell braid with 14 inner strands. The outer shell is rated at 200 lbs and the inner strands are rated at 25 lbs each for a total static load of 550 lbs. It will not rot or mildew.
