Our new beeswax wraps are handmade in Stroud in the UK, in fabrics exclusively chosen for The Wise House. We have designed a set of wraps that will work brilliantly in a packed lunch, selecting brightly coloured prints that we know children will love.
There are three sizes; 30cmx30cm - perfect for wraps, rolls and sandwiches, 24cmx24cm, ideal for making a snack envelope and filling with a few crisps, nuts or chopped fruit, and 16cmx16cm, a small wrap for any other tasty tidbits like raisins, cheese or cucumber.
The wraps are made from 100% cotton, dunked in beeswax and pine resin to make it easy to mould as well as imbuing it with natural antibacterail and anti fungal properties.
Use the wraps time and again, and drastically reduce or stop your use of cling film and foil. You can wash the wrap gently with cold soapy water (please don't dunk them completely). Peg or lay them inside or out to dry.
SustainabilityThe beeswax wraps are made by Carly and Fran in the Cotswolds. The beeswax comes from their local beekeeper, Keith. The wraps will replace clingfilm and foil, saving on waste.
End of LifeOnce your beeswax wraps have completely lost their oomph, you can compost them. Bee's Wraps are fully biodegradable. They also make great firelighters, just cut into strips and add to your fire. Your wraps will last up to one year.
