Hand sculptured from pure natural clay with the powdered pigment hand mixed into the wet clay body itself, rather than painting or varnishing the outside surface. This technique makes the clay's color vivid and vibrant, while the texture remains beautifully raw. The surface then was hand-burnished with a smooth stone.
